Here are clips of the three main female stars of M:i:III.
Here is a brief snippet of Lauren Lee Smith from one of the more talked about scenes in Lie with Me. This is from an HD source so it should be slightly clearer. We will eventually get around to doing all the clips again from HDTV.
The full screen version also aired at the same time and that appeared to be pan & scan with no extra top and bottom detail.
Unfortunately the quality of the R2 DVD is worse than VHS. Hopefully the R1 DVD scheduled to come out next month is better.
Here is a full screen vs. widescreen comparison for Havoc.
The top cap is from SDTV (480i) and is about 1.33:1 aspect ratio.
The bottom cap is from HDTV (720p) and is about 1.85:1 aspect ratio.
The R1 DVD has about the same aspect ratio and framing as the HDTV but less res.
The SDTV appears to be open matte meaning more picture on the top and bottom. The sides are also slightly cropped. However, during one sequence in the Bijou Phillips sex scene, the SDTV reverts to pan & scan. I’m assuming this is so they don’t show any unintentional nudity. Fortunately, they didn’t touch the Anne Hathaway scenes.

Well I’ve written about Rachel Blanchard a few times so now here’s her co-star from Clueless, Stacey Dash. This is an extremely rare clip of Stacey from Illegal in Blue. This movie was never available on DVD. There were a couple of pan & scan VHS versions but they’re now out-of-print.
This is the unrated version in widescreen sourced from HDTV. As such, the filesize is large (it’ll probably only be up for a week) and playback may be choppy on some older computers.
Hard to believe that Stacey is now 40 years old.
Here is the other exclusive I promised this week. This is the opening sequence of Lie with Me. I wanted to upload a more explicit clip with both Lauren Lee Smith and Eric Balfour but the filesizes of those clips turned out too large. There are 13 clips from Lie with Me in the member’s area of capped.com.
I’ve been pimping this movie for a while and the DVD will finally available in two weeks. Sadly, there are no deleted scenes or featurettes. It does however include a commentary track with Lauren and the director where they don’t really answer if any of the action was real.
